About us

Welcome to Abrigos Baleeiros! We are located in the south of Pico Island, in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, and our guests will be surrounded by the sea, unusual volcanic nature and beautiful mountains.

You can enjoy water activities and the majestic Pico Mountain. You can participate in activities and kayak or bicycle tours, or simply go for a walk. You can also relax, meditate, or enjoy a delicious dinner at our facilities.

Our space is an excellent venue for small and medium-sized events, such as expeditions, retreats, training, and meetings.

The accommodation, which can be used for groups, has a capacity of 14 guests in 7 rooms, with all amenities and a fantastic view of the sea.

Abrigos Baleeiros is proud to offer its guests a true regional gastronomic experience. The kitchen prepares complete meals with seasonal and regional ingredients. In the dining room or outside, on the Miradouro terrace, you can enjoy fresh, local produce, prepared with great care.
